How to qualify:

To top the Leader Board and win prizes, you need to earn points. Every time you play in a tournament, the number of players, the buy-in and your finish rank determine exactly how these points are distributed and where you'll end up on the board. Roughly who gets points? The top 20% of finishers per tournament.

To earn rank and points on the Leader Board:

* you must enter a tournament that's open to the public
* it must not be a "Qualifier" for another tournament
* it must not be a Sit and Go.

Check to see exactly when the Leader Board is updated:

Weekly Leader Board: (Starts Monday at 12 a.m. EST and ends Sunday at 11:59 p.m. EST. Updated every morning at 6 a.m. EST.)
Your top 12 tournament point finishes are counted.

Although free to enter, these $500 freerolls each offers $1 rebuys and $1 add-ons. Players start with 1,000 chips and are able to rebuy an additional 1,500 chips for $1 at any time their stack is below 1,000 before the first break. After the first 60 minutes of play (during the first 5-minute break) and regardless of the players' chip stack size, an option is available to add-on 2,000 chips for $1. So during the first 65 minutes, any time players find their chip stack a bit low, they have an option to add more chips.

If the sum of all rebuys and add-ons exceeds the $500 Guaranteed prize pool, then the difference between the sum (rebuys addons) and the guaranteed prize pool will be added to the prize pool and distributed according the prescribed payout schedule that is displayed in the tournament lobby.

You can win a Bad Beat Bonus for having aces full of kings (AAAKK) or better beaten by four of a kind or better, depending on these rules:

1. Only real money Texas Holdem cash games are eligible (not tournaments).
2. Both pocket cards must be used by both the losing and winning hand.
3. Three or more players must be dealt into the hand.
4. Both the winning and losing hand must go to showdown.
5. All hands must be played independently. If you reveal your hand or instruct others on how to act, you won't be eligible.
6. You must submit your hand number within 48hrs of playing it.

Bodog information

Bodog is now a major player in the online poker market. By luck, they sponsored unknown Jamie Gold into the 2006 Main Event of the WSOP (which he won) and the room's profile received a much needed boost.

However, it has not all been smooth sailing since then. They made major upgrades to their software and players hit the message boards complaining about every aspect of it.
